Come join an incredible team! Job Summary The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) acts as a representative of treatment staff and observes all patient activity, maintains a visible presence on the clients at the treatment center and at outside activities.
The BHT will also circulate throughout the treatment center facility and alert to fire and safety hazards.
The BHT is responsible for driving the company vehicle to ensure clients arrive safely and on time each day for scheduled activities.
Responsibilities and Duties Overseeing clients Documenting client urinalysis within facility EMR system Ability to conduct room and bag searches Transporting clients to and from appointments, when necessary Utilizing the company van for transportation of clients Instructing and confirming the company's rules and regulations to new admissions Orienting new clients to the facility and the residential facility Evaluating quality of program on an ongoing basis Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment Knowledge of 12 Step Program Qualifications and Skills A minimum of 1-year experience in substance abuse and/or mental health care Current and valid Driver's License Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Job Types:
