Aventura Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to lead, guide, educate, communicate and influence practice patterns and drive clinical change within a designated facility to improve outcomes, and reduce variation using the standards of evidence based medicine and best practices with accountability for ongoing performance improvement.
Qualifications:
oM.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school, completion of a residency from an accredited institution and board certification in specialty.
oCurrent active Florida physician license
oRecent clinical experience in the management of hospital inpatients
oPreferred physicians will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or other specialty with significant understanding of inpatient care, including hospitalists, Intensivists and ER physicians
oEligible to be credentialed as a part of the medical staff
oPreferred five to ten years practice experience in a large group practice and/or an integrated health system
oPreferred minimum of five years of leadership experience in complex healthcare organization with demonstrated success in the management of clinical improvement and patient safety
Competitive Salary, Benefits and a production bonusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
