Caregiver CNA
Objective: To provide professional care-giving services and to help clients maintain their independence and to assist them with the activities of daily living and household and family support services.
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping
Household management
Walking assistance
Eating assistance
Errands
Transportation using either clients vehicle or your car
Meal planning and preparation
Laundry and linen changing
Bathing assistance
Dressing assistance
Toileting
Medication reminders/ medication Management if qualified by office
Monitor Alzheimer's and dementia clients for all changes - notify office immediately.
Other Requirements
Pass recurring 30-day skills assessment by RN and client review by Client Services Manager
Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily
Record daily hours words and daily services performed on the Weekly Time Sheet and Service Log, review with client, and submit the signed form every Monday by 1:00 pm
Follow all policies and procedures as outlines in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and training Manual
Must have Physical and TB test taken prior to employment and yearly
Client requires Fluent English
Must have your own car
Must have Level 2 background Check
Must be able to pass random Drug testingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
