Forklift Operator
Lantana, FL
Contech is seeking a Forklift Operator at our plant in Lantana, FL.
This is a full time opportunity, with comprehensive health insurance, paid time off during the first year of employment, and 401(k).
Primary Responsibilities
- Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Adheres to Contech s Employee Expectations
- Completes Pre shift daily audit and maintains forklift daily safety checklist.
- Comply with Next Level Quality Assurance Program at all times.
- Operates forklift to empty departments of finished product and move to their specified locations.
- Operates forklift to build loads and complete paperwork for each load.
- Operates forklift to load and unload in accordance with Contech s Loading/Unloading Guide.
- Assist customers with their orders.
- Prepares lumber for dunnage use, operates saws and nail guns.
- Fuels and maintains forklift.
- Completes Post shift daily audit and Parks forklift in designated area at the end of each day
- Records and turns in production as required.
- Keep yard area in neat and orderly condition (strapping, boards, stringers etc.
) - Other duties assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred:
Certification on forklift operation.
